REM Concert moved to C.I.A

The Cardiff leg of REM’s Accelerate 08 tour has been re-sited from the Millennium Stadium to the smaller Cardiff International Arena.
Concert promoters Live Nation decided that the 7,500 capacity CIA will play host to the event.
The Millennium Stadium will already be in the spotlight on August 23 when Madonna kicks off her latest World Tour in Cardiff.
The iconic city-centre venue has already hosted a 26,000 strong Neil Diamond concert in its arena configuration and a 48,500 capacity Bruce Springsteen concert this summer.
Fans who have already bought tickets for the R.E.M. stadium concert, scheduled for Monday 25th August, will be contacted by their ticket agent with the offer of a refund, or tickets for the concert now scheduled at the CIA on the same evening.
