Welsh fans will get greater rugby coverage than ever before at this autumn’s Dove Men Series which kicks off with Wales versus Argentina on Saturday 10 November.
WRU TV, Welsh rugby’s in-house television channel, is offering all the latest videos and features from inside the Welsh camp via the state-of-the-art technology at Cardiff’s Millennium Stadium.
At each of Wales’ home games including Samoa (Nov 16), New Zealand (Nov 24) and Australia (Dec 1), WRU TV will broadcast live to the fans from a pitchside position for the first time ever before the game.
With all the latest matchday build-up from Wales’ favourite rugby stars, the new live spot will give fans access to extra content as well as greater matchday interaction before a ball has been kicked.
Stadium visitors can also tune in live to half-time competitions and all the best post-match reaction across two high-definition big screens and some 400 flat-screen sets around the venue.
The Millennium Stadium’s technology solution is delivered by Cisco, the company responsible for revolutionising the fan experience at some of the most famous stadia across the world.
Welsh Rugby Union Group Chief Executive Roger Lewis said: “The Millennium Stadium is one of the world’s leading stadiums and it requires a technology infrastructure to match: We must provide the best venue experience for our fans and we’re delighted to be working with Cisco to ensure we’re at the cutting edge of digital technology systems.”
Tickets and hospitality packages for the Autumn International matches against Argentina, Samoa and Australia are still available via the official websites: WRU.CO.UK and millennium stadium.com.
