Six Nations announce 2024 Autumn Nations Series
22nd April 2024, 1:03 pm By Principality Stadium
The 2024 Autumn Nations Series sees Wales take on Fiji, Australia and South Africa in matches across three consecutive weekends at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium this November.
Across the full Autumn Nations Series, the best of northern hemisphere rugby will host 21 fixtures against the best teams from around the world, with supporters in the UK and Ireland able to follow all the action live on TNT Sports and discovery+.
Wales fans can delight as Fiji make their first visit to the Welsh capital since 2021.
Wales will be looking to get their 2024 campaign off to a strong start against the Fijians at 1340hrs on Sunday 10 November, 14 months after the two sides met in their opening pool fixture at Rugby World Cup 2023 in an epic encounter.
Tickets for this match are £20, £30 and £40, with a new approach to concessions meaning all under 18s are charged half price for any seat in the house across all three matches – so a family of four can watch Fiji for £60 in total.
Wales then face Australia on Sunday 17 November, kick-off 1610hrs. The Wallabies will be making the trip to the home of Welsh rugby in Cardiff after hosting Wales for two Test matches down under this July. Prices for this match are £30, £40 and £60, with the new concession allowing a family of four to watch Wales take on the Wallabies for £90 in total.
In their final match of the 2024 Autumn Nations Series, Wales will face current World Champions South Africa for the second time this year at 1740hrs on Saturday 23 November in what will be a fantastic showdown to close out a huge autumn. This fixture takes place 25 years on from Wales’ historic first win against the Springboks, as Principality Stadium celebrates its milestone (25th) anniversary and the first international to be played at the stadium on 26 June 1999.
This game is priced at £50, £70 and £90 with family tickets starting at £150 for a family of four. The new three-category ticketing model also means a significant increase in the number of lower priced tickets available across all three games.
In another first, regional season ticket holders will be given a priority window to buy tickets ahead of public sale, which will take place on 6th June.
Until then, as always, the best place to secure a ticket to see Wales take on Fiji, the Wallabies and the Springboks this autumn will be from a WRU member club near you from 15th May, with debenture holders receiving priority access from today.
WRU Executive Director of Rugby Nigel Walker said: “This is an exciting Autumn Nations Series schedule for Wales, with fixtures against three key southern hemisphere opposition in quick succession.
“We look forward to welcoming Fiji, Australia and South Africa to Principality Stadium this November as we celebrate the stadium’s 25th anniversary – a particularly fitting milestone when we face the Springboks in our series finale having played them in the stadium’s first international fixture back in 1999.”
