Judgement Day VII, the 2019 incarnation of the annual ‘super day-out’ for Welsh rugby which sees all four regions face-off in back-to-back Guinness PRO14 matches under one roof, will take place at Principality Stadium on Saturday 27th April.

Wales’ international heroes will collide in Cardiff as the Dragons face last year’s Guinness PRO14 finalists the Scarlets in the first match of the day, kicking-off at 3pm, before Cardiff Blues host the Ospreys at 5.15pm in front of an expected 60,000-plus crowd.
ROAD CLOSURE DETAILS
There will be a full city centre road closure from 13:00 – 20:00
However from early in the day Scott Rd & Park St will be closed as a result of the need to prepare Gate 5 and to protect queuing fans
For a full road closure the following roads are closed
Kingsway from its junction with North Rd to its junction with Duke St.
Cowbridge Road East from its junction with Cathedral Rd to its junction with Westgate St.
Tudor St from its junction with Clare Rd to its junction with Wood St (access for residents & traders will be permitted via Fitzhammon Embankment)
Plantagenet St & Beauchamp St from their junctions with Despenser Place to their junctions with Tudor St (access for residents & traders will be permitted)
Customhouse Street throughout its length (access to private car parks will be permitted)
The following roads will be closed in their entirety: – Duke St, Castle St, High St, St.Mary St, Caroline St, Wood St, Central Sq, Westgate St, Quay St, Guildhall Pl, Golate, Park St, Havelock St & Scott Rd.
Despencer St from its junction with Clare St, throughout its length, Fitzhammon Embankment throughout its length, with access for buses and residents being maintained.
Additions:
Civic Centre: Access to part of the Civic Centre will be controlled throughout the day, with access allowed only for rugby parking, limited commuter parking, loading and access to private car parks. Roads affected include: King Edward VII Avenue, Museum Avenue, City Hall Road, College Road & Gorsedd Gardens Road
Please Note:
If there are any safety concerns in connection with crowds queuing to go into the venue prior to gates opening there may be a need to close Wood St & Westgate St earlier, along with lane restrictions adjacent to Gate 1 on Cowbridge Rd East.
If there are any safety concerns in connection with the Central Station queuing systems there may be a need to close Penarth Road, Saunders Road and Custom House Street until safety concerns are remedied.
Sophia Gardens (Cars) car park
(Approx. 0.5miles walk to Principality Stadium, Gate 2)
Sophia Gardens Event Day Parking
Getting There: Exit Junction 32 of M4
Cost: £15 payable on the day at the car park (cash only)
Parking time: Car Park opens 8am and closes 12am (Midnight)
Please Note: Sophia Gardens car park will be staffed until 8.30pm, all vehicles are left on site at the owner’s risk, The City of Cardiff Council will not be held responsible for any theft or damage to motor vehicles or personal possessions. Any vehicles left in the car park after the closing time will be fined.
Park & Ride Cardiff West, Leckwith – Post code: CF11 8EG
Getting there: Access from Junction 33 of the M4, then follow signage to site on Leckwith Road
Distance from City centre / Principality Stadium: 1.5miles (10-15mins)
Cost: £10 payable on the day at the car park (cash only) or £8 pre-book – If you pre-book you will be required to PRINT AND HAND TO THE SELLER YOUR PRE-BOOKING CONFIRMATION, without this printed confirmation you will be required to pay cash on the day.
Drop-off Point: Fitzhammon Embankment
The car park will have a staff presence from 8:30am, will open at 9:00am, with the first bus at 9:30am. The last bus will leave the pick-up point at 8:30pm, with the car park closing at 9pm.
Civic Centre on-street parking
Cost: £15 payable on the day (cash only) or £12 pre-book – If you pre-book you will be required to PRINT AND HAND TO THE SELLER YOUR PRE-BOOKING CONFIRMATION, without this printed confirmation you will be required to pay cash on the day.
Civic Centre coach parking
Cost: £25 payable on the day (cash only) or £25 pre-book – If you pre-book you will be required to PRINT AND HAND TO THE SELLER YOUR PRE-BOOKING CONFIRMATION, without this printed confirmation you will be required to pay cash on the day.
The Civic centre parking area will have a staff presence from 7:30am, will open at 8:00am, and all vehicles must be either removed or a pay & display ticket displayed by 8am on Sunday 28th April.
