Fanzones & Facilities
If you’re visiting Principality Stadium for the first time or haven’t been for a while it’s worthwhile familiarising yourself with the stadium various facilities and fanzones on offer.
Food & Beverages
All food & beverage outlets within Principality Stadium during Welsh Rugby matches will be closed within 15 minutes of the start of the second half . There will be some flexibility on timing in order to deal with queues and to facilitate a systemised shut down of all outlets.
Should you need access to food & beverages for medical reasons, please see your nearest steward who will be able to assist you.
Whilst alcohol will not be served during the second half of the game, supporters will still have access to free drinking water stations throughout the stadium. Drinks containers are not permitted.
Cashless Stadium
Principality Stadium is a cashless stadium from Saturday 1st February 2020.
Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
Maestro, Mastercard (includes debit & credit cards), Visa Electron, Visa Debit (includes debit and credit cards), Apple Pay and Android Pay.
Contactless payments are accepted.
Merchandise
The merchandise retail units within Principality Stadium are operated by Macron. All Macron operated retail units accept both cash and card payment methods however contactless payments are not accepted.
Where do I go if I need first aid?
First Aid points can be found at each corner of the ground, located on levels 3, 4 & 6.
Where are the toilets?
Ladies and Gents toilets on all levels, please refer to the map above for their locations. Disabled toilet facilities are located on all levels and are accessible by RADAR key.
What should I do if I’ve lost something?
Call Principality Stadium lost property line on 02920 667 943. (This number is not operational on event days).
What items are prohibited?
No entry with bottles, glasses or containers of any description. Air horns and larger flag sticks are also not permitted.
Are there smoking facilities?
Smoking is not permitted in the main bowl. Smoking is permitted outside the stadium but within the main gates.
Are there disabled facilities?
Stewards will be pleased to offer assistance to our disabled visitors. This help includes providing a refreshment ordering service for those spectators who request it. Disabled toiler facilities are located on all levels and are accessible by RADAR key.
What if I need help on the day?
Stewards are on hand if you have any worries about safety, the behaviour of other spectators or if you need help with ticketing or with finding your way within the stadium.
Am I allowed to stand during the match?
Standing during matches or other events is not permitted. Spectators should remain seated at all times and not obstruct the view of others during exciting passages of play.
Do I require ID to purchase alcohol?
The stadium operates a strict Challenge 21 policy in respect of the sale of alcohol. The scheme serves as a reminder to customers that it is against the law to purchase alcohol if you are under 18, or to purchase alcohol on behalf of someone who is under 18. If you are lucky enough to appear under 21, you can expect to be asked to prove your age with the following identification: Photocard Driving Licence or Passport.
